I'm not advocating hate speech, but if you're going to discuss the subject, the least you could do is actually print the word "nigger".
It can be a volatile subject, and I can see where a least-common-denominator outlet like CNN would want to sugar coat stories, but couldn't they at least have blanked out some letters? Or simply referred to the speech as "a racial epithet"?
Calling it the "n-word" is tantamount to calling urine "pee pee".
